The Colorado Buffaloes’ two-way star Travis Hunter is anticipated to play on Friday against the Stanford Cardinal, making the current slate of college football games even more exciting.

The last two games were missed by Hunter, a sophomore, who ruptured his liver against Colorado State on September 1. 16.
The college football star caught up with the player who injured him and they socialized together while the former was recovering.

Travis Hunter’s 2023 stats include 213 receiving yards, 13 points per catch, 2 pass deflections, and 1 interception in three games.

The talented two-way player for the Buffaloes is now prepared to play again on Friday.
Hunter will likely take the field tonight against Stanford, according to ESPN’s Pete Thamel.

It should come as no surprise that during team warm-ups, head coach Deion Sanders and Colorado’s medical staff will keep a close eye on Hunter. The group wants to make sure Sanders is fit and doesn’t experience any setbacks or exhibit any limitations during pre-game warm-ups.

If everything goes as planned, Sanders will resume playing both wide receiver and defensive back, taking snaps in both positions.
But the Buffaloes’ coaching staff has already decided to drastically cut back on his snaps compared to his first two games.

“I want him to always be a tremendous asset; I don’t want him to be a liability.
I absolutely adore Travis’ sense of teamwork, and he asked me [Monday] morning what else he could do to help us reach our goal.
Hopefully, he can play.

Hunter worked hard to make his return in Week 7, as Sanders revealed in reports.
The medical staff gave him the go-ahead to play when he returned to practice at the beginning of this week, and he more than demonstrated his readiness on the practice field to persuade his coaches of that fact.

In Colorado’s season-opening victory over TCU, Sanders took part in 146 snaps, according to ESPN.
The following week, Sanders played slightly fewer snaps, but he was still on the field for the majority of the offensive and defensive snaps.
He will wear protective clothing on Friday to help lower the chance of suffering additional harm.

Colorado just defeated Arizona State by a score of 27-24. With a victory, the football team of the Buffaloes will match their highest win total since 2019.
