The Colorado Buffaloes’ weekend hype train derailed.
On Friday night, the Buffaloes let a slim 29-0 lead against the Stanford Cardinal slip away.
In a thrilling overtime match, the 1-win Cardinal came back to win 46-43.

Beyond painful, that defeat was for Colorado and head coach Deion Sanders.
They have experienced pressure ever since, and Sunday’s comments from ESPN’s Paul Finebaum contributed significantly to that pressure. Sanders was labeled as the “biggest loser” of the week by Finebaum, who joined “The Matt Barrie Show” on ESPN College Football’s YouTube page.

The biggest loser of the weekend, according to Finebaum, was Deion Sanders.
“I don’t wanna bring the wrath of some of your highest-paid talent on ESPN on me,” Finebaum said.
Barrie replied to Finebaum’s statement, “No question!” in agreement.

Inexcusable, I say. It’s over for him now.
After being struck, he admitted, “Colorado isn’t really all that fascinating to me anymore.”.

Over the past few weeks, the Buffaloes have undoubtedly seen a lot of their hype crumble.
Prior to losing to Caleb Williams and the USC Trojans the following week, they were thrashed 42-6 by Oregon at Autzen Stadium a few weeks ago. Colorado then prevailed in a close contest against Arizona State in Tempe, but they dropped the ball to the Cardinal on Friday night, who came into the game with just one victory. They also recorded a setback against FCS Sacramento State.

Coach Prime’s late-night show is no longer my priority, Finebaum declared.
