I think that number is excessively high.
Even though the coaching was subpar against the Raiders (playcaller and head coach Matt LaFleur) and Lions (defensive coordinator Joe Barry), it’s important to keep in mind how inexperienced and inexpensive this team is.
In light of the cap debt the team incurred after going “all in” during Aaron Rodgers’ final years in Green Bay, as we detailed earlier this week, the Packers are spending the least amount of money on offense of any of the 32 NFL teams this season.
Furthermore, running back Aaron Jones and left tackle David Bakhtiari—who aren’t even on the field—are the recipients of half of their offensive budget.
