The Pro Football Hall of Fame has a sizable representation of Green Bay Packers players.
The veterans committee announced earlier this year that Steve McMichael, a former Packers defensive lineman (and longtime Chicago Bear), would be inducted into the Canton Hall of Fame.
The Hall of Fame has its sights set on the Class of 2024 now that the membership for this year has been chosen.
They published their complete list of the 173 nominees for the modern era today, September 19. Jordy Nelson, Josh Sitton, TJ Lang, and Julius Peppers, all former Packers, were among those who received a nomination in their first year of eligibility.
There are numerous Green Bay Packers nominees, including Jordy Nelson.
Nelson and Sitton were just recently enshrined in the Green Bay Packers Hall of Fame.
They not only join a select group of legendary figures who have had a significant impact on the franchise, but also a group of players who have been eagerly awaiting their own call to Canton.

Cecil Isbell and Sterling Sharpe, two former Packers greats, will undoubtedly be up for consideration by the veterans committee, but their votes will be cast separately from those for the nominees from the modern era.
On the list of former Packers players deserving of a bust in Canton, there are undoubtedly a few honorable names.
But the truth is that few of them will ever arrive there.
In spite of this, Julius Peppers stands out above the rest as a candidate who has a very good chance of being inducted.
Peppers finished his NFL career with 159 point five sacks, which places him fourth all-time.
Of his 17 seasons, he spent 10 with the Carolina Panthers, 4 with the Bears, and 3 with the Packers.
The 2002 NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year and a member of the Hall of Fame’s All 2000’s Team, Peppers was chosen for the Pro Bowl nine times.
He was also named to the First Team All-Pro three times.
Peppers recorded 25 sacks and was selected to his final Pro Bowl during his three seasons with the Packers.
Andre Rison, a former wide receiver for the Green Bay Packers.
Many people overlook the outstanding wide receiver Andre Rison was on the field, despite the possibility that his conduct off the field will ultimately prevent him from being inducted into the Hall of Fame.
He currently holds the top 20 wide receiver records for touchdown receptions (84) and receiving yards (10,205) in history.
He was closer to the top 10 in each at the time of his retirement.
