Deion Sanders is 100 percent honest about his “expectations” surrounding Colorado football.

It’s no secret that Deion Sanders transformed Colorado football this season, putting it on the national map and boosting the program’s popularity in Boulder.
But even as the Buffaloes build on last year’s winning streak, Sanders isn’t satisfied.
4-3 is not good enough and has not exceeded expectations in his opinion.

“I have high expectations.
So you have a pretty good idea of how the season is going against my expectations,” Sanders said in a press conference this week, via On3 Sports.
“It depends on your expectations.
I can’t mix because my expectations and yours don’t match.

“I know what [my expectations] are,” Sanders added.
“I think we need to reach record levels and I know what we can achieve and I want to put it all together in one game and give it to you and put it on display.

This is a valid point for Primetime.
His expectations differ greatly from those of the media and sportsbooks, such as Colorado’s 3.5 career wins.
We saw some stellar performances from the Buffs, especially quarterback Sheder Sanders, but their defense was terrible and allowed too many points.

The Buffaloes were blown out of the water by Beau Nix and Oregon.
They beat Stanford 29-0 and lost in double overtime.
That’s not the foundation of the best program, and Sanders knows it.

On a more positive note, it’s clear he’s made a big difference, and this is only his first year. The best is yet to come.
But don’t expect Deion Sanders to be satisfied.
They are never winners.
