Having a really nice succession plan without having to spend a lot of money is possible if the team can coach up Lance.

Prescott has his shortcomings, but there is no denying that he has been a successful quarterback for the Cowboys.
It must be absolutely certain that there won’t be a production drop if the team decides to move on and switch to Lance. The Cowboys have a roster that is designed to win now, despite the fact that the output may appear to be different.
Although the grass isn’t always greener, I can understand your frustration with Prescott.
