Cowboys provide update on Tyron Smith’s injury ahead of battle with Rams

By | October 27, 2023

The Dallas Cowboys’ recent injury report involves a key player on the offensive line, left tackle Tyron Smith, who is listed as having a neck issue and was limited in practice according to Charean Williams Sports by NBC..

This isn’t the first time Smith has had neck problems, as that’s what caused him to miss 14 games during the 2020 season after having surgery in that area.. On top of that, he also has a history of injuries, missing matches in the past due to foot problems.. In fact, he missed two games this season due to a knee injury..
It’s unclear whether he will miss the Cowboys’ next game against the Los Angeles Rams, but his status is currently uncertain.. Cowboys head coach Mike McCarthy is confident the team remains “healthy” after the bye week..

“After just a week of rest we were feeling better.. This is perhaps the most important thing.. I think that’s where you want to go,” McCarthy said.. “Our pure GPS numbers are the biggest product of the year that we’ve had.. I’m looking for another one today..
As NBC Sports mentioned, Smith hasn’t played a full season since 2015, missing a total of 47 out of a “possible” 120 games since then.. A lucrative stat to say the least, but this injury offense is also important for others on the Cowboys’ offensive line..

If the Cowboys’ offensive line can stay healthy, there’s no doubt they are one of the strongest units in the league.. They hope to be fully healthy as they prepare to defend home against the Rams this Sunday..
