One fan was gloating as the Packers led the Falcons at the half in Atlanta.

The mascot for the Falcons took matters into his own hands and doused him in cheese.

The term “cheeseheads” is used to describe Packers supporters.
However, one fan in Atlanta on Sunday may have gotten a little bit more than he anticipated.

Green Bay had a lead over the host team as the game against the Falcons entered the half at the Mercedes-Benz.

A Falcons mascot took matters into his own hands and threw a vat of cheese sauce directly over a Packers fan who was giddy over his team’s victory while wearing Packers gear.

The hilarious scenes were captured by FOX Sports’ live television cameras, and the moment was tweeted with the caption “Things are getting cheesy in Atlanta.”.

Because so much cheese is made in Wisconsin, Packers supporters are referred to as “cheeseheads.”.

For this fan, the nickname “cheesehead” took on a very literal meaning when sauce was poured all over him.

Once the Packers fan’s outfit was complete, the mascot added to the fun by adding some chips.

Fans frequently wear literal “cheese heads” while watching games, which prompts opposition supporters to retaliate with headgear of their own.

In an apparent effort to prevent his team from pulling a fast one on the opposition in Atlanta on Sunday, one Falcons fan even constructed a massive cheese grater on top of his own head.

However, the Packers actually had the better start of the two teams.
