You all don’t deserve a damn thing but to support the players – Christian Watson father fires back at Packers fans.

Green Bay Packers wide receiver Christian Watson’s recent performance has sparked discussions about his form, prompting his father, Tazim Wajed, to address Packers fans on Twitter.

Watson, acquired by the Packers in a trade involving two first-round picks in April 2022, has faced a challenging month on the field. Over the last four games, he has not surpassed 37 yards in a single game, leading to questions about a potential sophomore slump or his long-term viability as a key receiver for the team.

In response to the criticisms, Tazim Wajed expressed his frustration on Twitter, particularly addressing fans’ expectations:

“What amazes me about this Green Bay Packers fan base… is the fact that this team, which is literally the youngest in the NFL, was not expected to even compete this season, yet have found a way to be in every game.”

Wajed criticized the negativity towards the team and drew comparisons to past treatment of players like Aaron Rodgers and Davante Adams.

He concluded with a firm message to fans:

“You all don’t deserve a damn thing but to support the players who’re out there playing their asses off, if you choose to be fans! #FairweatherFans #GoPackGo”

It’s worth noting that Tazim Wajed, formerly known as James Timothy Watson Jr., is related to Tim Watson, a player drafted by the Packers in 1993. The elder Watson played in the NFL for the Kansas City Chiefs, New York Giants, and Philadelphia Eagles.

Watson’s brother, Tre Watson, a former NFL, CFL, and XFL linebacker, also engaged with Packers fans on Twitter, adding to the family’s response.
