Updates on Packers stars’ injuries are terrible.

This week’s practices have been missed by Aaron Jones and Christian Watson.

In their season opener against the Chicago Bears, the Green Bay Packers stunned everyone with a dominant offensive performance.
They might struggle to repeat that, though, in Week 2 given the serious injuries sustained by a number of their offensive standouts.

Aaron Jones, the Packers’ star running back, easily made the biggest offensive difference in Week 1, leading the team in both rushing and receiving yards.

A hamstring injury forced Jones to leave the game toward the end, and it appears that he is still experiencing pain from it.

Jones missed practice on Wednesday and Thursday, according to the Packers’ weekly injury report.

For both practice sessions on Wednesday and Thursday, they were also without second-year wide receiver Christian Watson. Watson missed the Packers’ regular-season debut as well due to a hamstring injury.

Jordan Love, a third-year quarterback who will start only his third NFL game on Sunday, could suffer greatly if he were to be without both of these offensive contributors.

This could be particularly true against a Falcons defense that has already demonstrated its ability to pressure a young quarterback into errors.
In Week 1’s victory over the Carolina Panthers, the Falcons’ defense was successful in forcing rookie quarterback Bryce Young into three mistakes.
