Through the first two games of the season, the 24-year-old has earned an 80.6 defensive grade, an 82.4 run defensive grade, and a 75.5 pass-rushing grade, according to Pro Football Focus.
The top linebackers for the Cowboys, however, have received lower grades.
Markquese Bell has a 73 point defensive grade and a 79 point run-defensive grade compared to Vander Esch’s 68 point defensive grade, 68 point run-defensive grade, and 58 point pass-rushing grade.
Why Trading for Patrick Queen Would Be Beneficial for the Ravens.
Except for the possibility that the Cowboys would like to upgrade at linebacker, Queen looks to be entering what could be his final season in Baltimore.
The Ravens passed on the former first-round pick’s fifth-year option and chose Trenton Simpson in the third round of this year’s draft instead.
Ballentine points out that before the trade deadline on October 31, the Ravens could trade Queen for a draft pick.
