On Monday afternoon, Matt LaFleur, the head coach of the Green Bay Packers, provided a concerning update on star left tackle David Bakhtiari. Bakhtiari spent the previous week on the injury report due to a knee problem.

According to the injury report from Friday, Bakhtiari is questionable to play against the Falcons.
He was ruled out of the Sunday game by the Packers.

Many supporters believed Bakhtiari skipped the game because he did not want to compete on the artificial turf at Mercedes-Benz Stadium.

That was not the case.

Bakhtiari’s knee injury was the reason he was unable to play against the Falcons, LaFleur reportedly told ESPN’s Rob Demovsky.

The knee of Bakhtiari was swollen.

In order to determine whether Bakhtiari will likely face the New Orleans Saints in Week 3, it will be important to monitor his injury status for that week. (That game will take place at Lambeau Field on grass).

Most likely, Bakhtiari won’t work out this week.
Prior to Week 1’s game against the Chicago Bears, he missed practices.
On the practice field and during games this season, Bakhtiari, according to LaFleur, will be “fluid.”.
