WR Terrace Marshall Jr. of the Panthers might be a perfect trade candidate for the Cowboys.
A disgruntled wide receiver might think the Dallas Cowboys are the perfect place to land him.
The Cowboys are one of the five teams that CBS Sports’ Bryan DeArdo suggests as possible trade destinations for Terrace Marshall Jr., a wide receiver for the Carolina Panthers.
During his three seasons in Carolina, the former second-round draft pick has been mainly underutilized; his best campaign occurred last year, when he recorded 28 receptions for 490 receiving yards and one touchdown in the 2022 campaign.
According to DeArdo, the Cowboys’ offense has had difficulty scoring recently; against the San Francisco 49ers and the Los Angeles Chargers, they only managed 10 and 20 points, respectively.

Jeremy Fowler of ESPN reports that Marshall has been granted permission to pursue a trade prior to the October 31 deadline.

In the fourth quarter, Brandin Cooks scored Dallas’ last touchdown, but he had mostly been a non-factor in his first season with the Cowboys.
However, he finally showed up with a strong four-catch, 36-yard, one-touchdown performance in the 20-17 victory over the Chargers.
Cooks had recorded nine receptions for 73 receiving yards in four games before his performance against the Chargers.
Losses have also been experienced by tight end Jake Ferguson and Michael Gallup, the Cowboys’ other main receiving weapons.
This season, Gallup has just 18 receptions for 204 receiving yards and 0 touchdowns.
Ferguson, meanwhile, has only recorded 21 receptions for 190 receiving yards and one touchdown.
Pro Football Focus reports that Cooks and Gallup have both had unimpressive offensive grades this season, with Cooks scoring just 59 points per game and Gallup scoring just 59 points.
Marshall is reasonably priced having been selected in the second round of the draft; he owes just $11 million this year and $14 million the following year.
Completing a trade for Marshall while giving up a low draft pick is not a bad idea if the Cowboys are truly uneasy with their current receiving weapons.
