The Packers should ultimately contact Carolina Panthers receiver Adam Thielen, a former NFL executive told the NFL Analysis Network as the 31 NFL trade deadline to upgrade at wide out approached.The former executive suggested that if the Packers continue to succeed, they should add another piece for Jordan Love.

In the first three weeks of 2023, Thielen has had a busy schedule, recording 20 receptions for 211 yards and a few touchdowns.
He is 33 years old, the executive notes, and doesn’t really fit for a franchise that is in the process of rebuilding.

He would, however, add some much-needed depth and leadership to the Packers’ young receiving corps. Thielen is well known in Green Bay thanks to the nine seasons he spent playing for the Minnesota Vikings. His consecutive seasons of 1,000 yards in 2017 and 2018 earned him two trips to the Pro Bowl in Minnesota.
Though he is no longer at that level, there is no doubt that Thielen could contribute something worthwhile to Green Bay’s aerial attack.
Thielen has 20 receptions for 211 yards and two touchdowns through three games in 2023.
