Saints Defense Takes Hits: Lattimore, Carr, Thomas All on Injury Report

By | November 13, 2023

The New Orleans Saints defense took a big hit on Sunday, losing cornerback Marshon Lattimore to a hamstring injury in the first quarter. Lattimore is considered one of the best cornerbacks in the NFL, and his absence will be a major blow to the Saints’ secondary.

The Saints’ offense also took some hits, with quarterback Derek Carr forced to leave the game in the first half with a concussion. Carr was replaced by backup quarterback Andy Dalton, who finished the game without leading a touchdown drive.

Wide receiver Michael Thomas also played in the game, but he was clearly limited by his foot injury. Thomas caught just one pass for 11 yards, and he was unable to make a significant impact on the game.

The Saints will need to get healthy quickly if they want to make a push for the playoffs. They are currently 5-4 and in third place in the NFC South.
