REPORT: Green Bay Packers Face Possible Loss of Rashan Gary for Chargers Game Following Friday’s Incident

The Green Bay Packers may confront a setback in Week 11 as they prepare to face the Los Angeles Chargers, with the potential absence of key pass rusher Rashan Gary due to an unfortunate injury during Friday’s practice.

While Gary was not initially on the injury report entering Week 11, a shoulder injury incurred during Friday’s practice led to his questionable status, as mentioned in the post-practice injury report. Despite being limited in practice, Head Coach Matt LaFleur emphasized that the injury is not a major concern in the long term.

LaFleur stated, “Unfortunately, there was a little mishap at practice, and we’ll see where he’s at on Sunday. I would say it’s not major. Obviously, with him being questionable, we’ll see, but it’s not anything long term that we’re concerned about.”

With 4.5 sacks this season, Gary holds the second-highest sack count for the Packers, trailing just half a sack behind Preston Smith. Given the importance of an effective pass rush, the Packers aim to have their defensive lineup at full strength against Chargers’ star quarterback Justin Herbert.
