Philadelphia Eagles’ Center, Jason Kelce, Clarifies Viral Video with Cowboys Linebacker

Jason Kelce, the veteran center for the Philadelphia Eagles, is no stranger to fiery encounters with rivals from the NFC East, including the Dallas Cowboys. A recent video went viral, capturing a moment where it seemed like Kelce was yelling at Cowboys linebacker Damone Clark. However, Kelce decided to set the record straight and dispel any misconceptions about what actually transpired in the clip.

During a recent episode of the “New Heights” podcast, Kelce clarified, saying, “I actually wasn’t screaming. I was laughing as loud as I could in his face.” In a rather humorous manner, Kelce even demonstrated the sounds he made while having a lively exchange with Clark.

This video moment occurred during the second quarter of the Eagles’ 28-23 victory over the Cowboys, showing Kelce grabbing Clark by the jersey and making a lot of noise right in his face.

On social media, many believed that Kelce’s actions in the video were more intense than they actually were. Some thought that Kelce had momentarily lost his temper and took out some suppressed frustration on the nearest Cowboys player, while others saw it as a tactic to get under the skin of a division rival.

When reflecting on the incident, Kelce humorously added, “Yeah, I don’t know what happened. I kind of blacked out.”

In the end, the Eagles emerged victorious in the game, halting Cowboys receiver CeeDee Lamb just short of the goal line and forcing a game-ending fumble. These two teams will meet again in a little over four weeks in Dallas for “Sunday Night Football.”
