Packers Fans Express Concerns Over Offensive Line and Draft Needs in 2024.

By | November 19, 2023

As the Green Bay Packers navigate the remaining half of the 2023 season, fan opinions provide insight into their confidence levels and concerns for the team’s future.

Despite a recent win against the Rams, fan confidence appears to have plateaued in the last two weeks. Fans are particularly concerned about the offensive line, with 62% identifying it as the team’s most significant draft need for 2024.

Several promising options for the offensive line are expected to be available in the upcoming draft, with tackle prospects such as Olu Fashnu (Penn State), Joe Alt (Notre Dame), J.C. Latham (Alabama), and Amarius Mims (Georgia) being top considerations. Oregon State’s rising prospect, Talises Fuaga, adds an intriguing wildcard to the mix.

A notable aspect of the survey is the fan preference for the receiving lineup. Dontayvion Wicks and Romeo Doubs emerged as the favored outside receiver combo, with Christian Watson trailing. The absence of Jayden Reed, the leading slot receiver, from the options raises questions about the perceived hierarchy. Fans seem to prioritize Wicks, followed by Doubs, leaving Watson in an unexpected fourth position.

As the Packers gear up for Week 11 against the Los Angeles Chargers, concerns about the offensive line and insights into fan preferences add an extra layer of anticipation to the remaining games of the 2023 season.
