Martin Brundle, former Formula 1 driver and now a prominent commentator, has called for an urgent rule change in F1 following an incident at the Italian Grand Prix. The incident in question involved a controversial on-track situation that raised concerns about safety and fairness during the race at Monza, one of the most high-speed circuits on the calendar.
Brundle argued that the current regulations need to be revisited to ensure a safer environment for drivers and to maintain the integrity of the competition. He specifically pointed out the need for clearer rules regarding defensive maneuvers and track limits, which have been a recurring issue in recent races. “We are seeing too many incidents where drivers are unsure of what is allowed, and this can lead to dangerous situations,” Brundle said. “The rules need to be clear and consistent to protect the drivers and ensure fair racing.”
