Lewis Hamilton has addressed potential regrets about not making a move to Ferrari, a topic that has sparked much speculation throughout his career. Hamilton, a seven-time Formula 1 World Champion with Mercedes, has often been linked with Ferrari, the iconic Italian team known for its passionate fanbase and rich history in motorsport. However, despite numerous opportunities to switch teams, Hamilton has remained loyal to Mercedes.

In a recent interview, Hamilton was candid about the subject, acknowledging that while Ferrari is an “iconic” team, his focus has always been on winning and being in the best possible environment to do so. He stated, “You can’t change it. The decisions I made were based on what I felt was right for me at the time. Looking back, I don’t regret any of them.”

Hamilton’s words reflect a pragmatic approach to his career, emphasizing that every decision he has made was carefully considered, with his main priority being success on the track. He noted that his partnership with Mercedes has brought him incredible achievements, including six of his seven world titles, and has cemented his legacy as one of the greatest drivers in the history of the sport.

The British driver also pointed out that the dynamics of Formula 1 are ever-changing, and what might have seemed like an attractive option at one time could have turned out differently in hindsight. While fans and critics may continue to speculate about what might have been if Hamilton had joined Ferrari, the driver himself appears at peace with his choices, focusing instead on his ongoing career with Mercedes and his pursuit of further success.
