Jordan Love is ranked higher than expected in CBS Sports’ QB power rankings.

Jordan Love, the Green Bay Packers’ quarterback, appears to be doing well so far.

Through two games, he hasn’t necessarily appeared poorly, but his 55.8% completion percentage is among the lowest in the league.
On the other hand, he hasn’t thrown any interceptions while completing three touchdown passes in both of Green Bay’s games. Love actually has the best quarterback rating in the league right now, surpassing Brock Purdy, Dak Prescott, and Tua Tagovailoa.

The reviews of Love thus far would all be glowing if it weren’t for a peculiar “butt-fumble-esque” play against Atlanta.

Even so, CBS Sports has high expectations for the young quarterback who will succeed Aaron Rodgers in Green Bay.
Actually, the only players with higher rankings were Patrick Mahomes, Tua Tagovailoa, and Purdy.

Aaron Rodgers, Brett Favre, and this individual.
He has had a somewhat boom-or-bust completion rate (55.8%), and in Week 2 he fumbled a crucial QB sneak.
He does, however, throw a beautiful downfield ball.
So far, there have been six touchdowns and zero interceptions, according to Cody Benjamin’s Week 3 NFL QB Power Rankings post.

Although this ranking only considers the quarterback’s first two weeks of action in 2023 and not his entire career, Love is not yet as good as some of the quarterbacks ranked below him, including Josh Allen, Justin Herbert, Jalen Hurts, and Trevor Lawrence.

Love’s performance on the field in 2023 speaks for itself because there isn’t really much else we can base our judgment on.

He might not end up in the Hall of Fame like Rodgers and Favre, but the Packers appear to at least have a capable and talented quarterback to work with.

When you consider it, that’s amazing because most people were anticipating a significant decline.
