The NFL has suspended defensive lineman Grover Stewart of the Indianapolis Colts for six games after the NFL caught him using performance-enhancing drugs (PEDs) earlier today.
According to Spotrac, Stewart joins Amani Bledsoe of the Falcons, Sean Chandler of the Panthers, Jake Haener of the Saints, Ronald Jones II of the Cowboys, and Cam Robinson of the Jaguars as players who have been caught using performance-enhancing drugs this year.
The most notable are Haener, Jones, and Robinson.
As a potential replacement for veteran rusher Ezekiel Elliot, Jones, a two-time Super Bowl champion, signed with Dallas this offseason.
He was nevertheless released in September, when his suspension was over.
However, Haener failed a drug test early in the summer after being selected by New Orleans in the fourth round of the 2023 NFL draft.
Last but not least, Robinson, who was selected 34th overall in the 2017 draft, missed his team’s first four games of the year.
