McInally was selected to replace Cherry in the Scotland Rugby World Cup team.

After getting hurt in an accident in the team hotel and needing medical attention, David Cherry was forced to leave the team.

David Cherry, an injured player, has been replaced by Edinburgh hooker Stuart McInally in the Scotland Rugby World Cup roster.

Cherry had to leave the team after getting hurt when he slipped on the stairs in the team hotel earlier this week, resulting in a concussion that rendered him incapacitated for 12 days.

After being initially placed on standby, McInally joined the team on Thursday and will now compete in his second World Cup.

Cherry expressed her disappointment at having to leave the team due to a concussion.
My time in camp over the summer has been wonderful, and I’m excited to play in my first world cup match on Sunday against South Africa.

“I would like to wish the team luck for the remaining rounds of the competition.

Ewan Ashman, who suffered a concussion last week as well, is moving forward with his return to play procedures and is currently on track to be available for selection the following week.
