Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers parted ways this offseason after 18 years.
The future Hall of Fame quarterback felt it was time to move on.

Coincidentally, the Packers’ front office feels the same way.
Shortly before the 2023 NFL Draft (and nearly six weeks after Rodgers announced his intention to play for the Jets), Rodgers was traded to New York for several high-quality picks.

However, with the 2023 season halfway over, Aaron Rodgers’ return to Green Bay is well and truly on track.

The Packers (probably) can’t catch the Detroit Lions and could have trouble keeping up with the Minnesota Vikings in the NFC North.

Although it may fluctuate throughout the season, Kirk Cousins is currently out for the remainder of the year.

Finishing ahead of the Chicago Bears?
It’s almost a guarantee.

Compared to Brett Favre’s return to Lambeau Field in 2009, Rodgers’ return will be very different.
Favre intends to prove something when he returns to Green Bay with the rival Minnesota Vikings.

While both sides felt it was time to move on (many fans agreed), Rodgers leaving Green Bay made it abundantly clear how much love he still had for the team, the fans and the region .

The two broke up on relatively good terms.
It is very likely that if Rodgers does return to Green Bay in 2024, he will be met with open arms.
