Aaron Rodgers Is Very Clear About His Possibility Of Retiring.

By | September 16, 2023

The New York Jets were the most anticipated team in the NFL before their matchup with the Buffalo Bills on Monday Night Football earlier this week.

Star quarterback Aaron Rodgers had raised expectations for the team’s future after the 2023 season.

Rodgers suffered what turned out to be a season-ending Achilles injury on the Jets’ first offensive series, and things for the team quickly went south.

Many predicted that the soon-to-be 40-year-old would give up playing after getting hurt because few athletes in professional sports recover from a torn Achilles tendon by the time they reach their senior years.

The former Super Bowl champion is confident he can return to the field and be productive even though the odds are against him doing so when he’s fully healthy and recovered, as he said about his near future on “The Pat McAfee Show,” via ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

Rodgers appears to be listening to all of his doubters and critics about whether he will be able to play again next season, which suggests that he will use everything said as motivation going forward.

Over the course of the next year or so, the star quarterback will encounter no shortage of skeptics because he will have his work cut out for him in order to recover from this injury and resemble the quarterback who previously won four NFL MVPs and a Super Bowl MVP.

Although it will be interesting to see how Rodgers handles everything, he appears to be entering his recovery with the right frame of mind.
