Six people were injured after an American Airlines flight made a hard landing at Maui’s Kahului Airport in Hawaii. The incident occurred on January 28, 2024, after Flight 271, an Airbus A320 carrying 167 passengers and seven crew members, arrived from Los Angeles. Among the injured were five crew members and one passenger, all of whom were taken to the hospital and later released in stable condition. The aircraft taxied to the gate under its own power and was later taken out of service for inspection. Authorities are investigating the cause of the incident.
